Meet the team

Hi, I’m Casey and when I say “meet the team” I mean me and my shed load of animals :)

I’ve been on a little bit of a whirlwind journey in my animal career. First I completed my Foundation Degree in Management of Animal Collections with Conservation at uni and then opening up my dog walking & pet service business in 2018. I’ve always wanted to provide the best care and support for owners and their animals.

After working in a rescue centre as a dog and cat caseworker, I fell in love with dog training and behaviour. Helping dogs through complicated issues, tough times and addressing behaviour struggles to help them find homes. This made me decide to progress into dog training and behaviour. So after lots more studying and shadowing a local behaviourist… here we are.

Within my training I only use positive methods, this means that training will be fun and force free. I will never use techniques that would make your dog or yourself uncomfortable.

Our training is based on up to date scientific research and I am always furthering my education on order to provide the best support possible. Take a look at our qualifications section for a list!

We will work together to help you and your dog live your best lives together in harmony.

I have a massive passion for all animals, not just dogs! I got my first snake at 12 years old and have continued to grow my little zoo since.

I now have my own little menagerie of animals  including my 2 dogs, a cat, 3 rabbits, leopard gecko, tortoise and the same snake I’ve had since I was 12. Growing up, I dreamt of having lots of animals and being able to give them the absolute best and it’s the reason I do what I do.

I believe being a pet guardian is all about doing your best for them, having the best relationship and always improving where you can.

I love all dogs and working with all their Weird & Wonderful behaviours. My 2 dogs are another reason I do what I do so it’s only fair to give them their own little section…

Nala was our family dog growing up, a gorgeous chocolate Lab who, of course, was obsessed with food. Nala suffered with reactivity but at the time I didn’t realise. I wish I knew then what I know now, as I could have done so much more to help her.

Luna, the girl who made me fall in love with the Doberman breed, who we tragically lost at a young age. Luna wasn’t my own dog but one of my clients, she joined me most days on walks and although she wasn’t technically mine, she played a large role in my life and we went through a lot together .Luna struggled with over arousal and sound phobias but was the most gentlest soul ever. I am definitely a better person having known her.

Molly is a German Shepard that I worked with during my time at a rescue centre. I instantly fell in love with Molly and we spent a lot of time together training. Molly suffered with severe dog to dog reactivity, she would even react to a photo of a dog! I think ultimately, Molly is the one who made me really fall in love with training and behaviour as well making me want to specialise in reactivity. Seeing her progress during her time at the kennels was astonishing and thankfully she found her forever home.

I could probably go on forever about the different animals that have influenced me during my lifetime but I don’t think the page is long enough!

Shelby is my blue Merle Border Collie, the most amazing personality, who takes anything and everything in her stride. Shelby was part of the deal when I met my partner, Ross, don’t tell him that she was the main reason I was drawn to him ;)

We have worked through lots of different behaviours together and her favourite thing is learning new tricks!

Nessie is my rescue girl who suffers with anxiety and reactivity. We work really hard on her confidence building and life skills, she has done amazingly well and continues to improve each day. Seeing her grow into this cheeky girl from the shell of a dog that first came to me, makes me want to do that for other dogs who may be struggling.

Shelby and Nessie are the complete opposites of one another but have the most lovely relationship. I’m sure you’ll see a lot of them on my social media pages.

There have been so many dogs, not just my own,  that have affected me over my career and shaped me into becoming the dog trainer I am today.

Positive, Kind, Reward based dog training that’s fun for all parties!
